The Dorchester, the iconic London flagship of Dorchester Collection, is situated at the heart of London’s Mayfair on Park Lane. The hotel offers guests a selection of 250 suites and rooms including three roof suites, many affording expansive views of Hyde Park.
Calling The Dorchester a hotel is like calling champagne a fizzy drink or caviar a sandwich spread. The hotel rejects bland luxury in favour of an unabashed celebration of opulence in décor, a level of service that is nearly telepathic, and food and wine that is gloriously over the top.
Winner of three awards by the industry’s leading voices.
The Dorchester Spa
The Dorchester Spa exudes 1930s art deco glamour. Designed by Fox-Linton Associates the spa combines a contemporary edge inspired by the iconic British style of The Dorchester. Unique aspects include a chandelier of 72,000 shimmering south-pacific pearls and a beautiful sapphire blue and white relaxation room. The indulgent Spatisserie has the ethos "a little of what you love is good for you". To celebrate the hotel's 80th anniversary Aromatherapy Associates has created a bespoke bath and shower oil set that is ideal for home and travel. The Dorchester Anniversary Blend was inspired by the famous 80-year-old great tree which stands at the entrance.
The Dorchester offers rooms of exceptional grace and comfort, all providing views over Hyde Park or the hotel’s landscaped terraces. The suites range in size from the Junior and Stanhope Suites to the generous Dorchester Suites and the famous Oliver Messel Suite. Bathrooms are welcoming and spacious, offering an exceptional combination of style and function, and are said to have the deepest baths in London. They are predominantly made in Italian marble and overall design is inspired by the ‘classic English home’.
