Set in the heart of Devon on the edge of Dartmoor, is Gidleigh Park a fine quintessential country house hotel embraced in an oasis of gardens, river and woods.
Recently restored, the owners Andrew and Christina Brownsword added several ‘spa suites’ with features such as a hot tub or steam room and then teamed up with Temple Spa to create the perfect setting for the in-room treatments now offered.
Included in the suites are a range of Temple Spa’s luxury products:
La La Lagoon, an aromatic bath and shower gel, with aloe, basil, orange, coriander and nutmeg; Sugar Buff, a delicious body scrub with vitamin E, olive, fig, pomegranate and relaxing essential oils and a top to toe Home Spa Collection!
Temple Spa products are designed to recreate a relaxing experience in your own personal space. The products are infused with essential oils and scents to enhance your feeling of relaxation, gently aiding the balance of body and mind.
Spa aficionados are spoilt for choice.
The ‘Dartmeet Suite’ enjoys stunning views over the valley and has it’s own sauna and steam room, huge marble bath, double shower and heated bed. ‘Manaton’ has its own rooftop hot tub, while ‘Cranbrook’ has twin roll top baths next to a fireside.
Added to all this the restaurant is run by two-Michelin star chef, Michael Caines, and the wine cellar houses more than 950 bins (about 8,000 bottles) of the finest wine.
